Dalal Street follows an issue from announcement to listing – dates, price band, lot size, subscription, entitlement – and keeps it as a running record you can read in a minute. Free to browse, no sign-in.
Mainboard and SME issues: open and close dates, price band, lot size, subscription by category, allotment and listing.
OFS windows for retail and non-retail, floor price, quantity on offer and the two-day timetable.
Tender and open-market offers: buyback price, record date, entitlement ratio and acceptance.
Rights ratio, issue price, record date and the rights-entitlement trading window.
Unofficial premiums collected from public reference sites – dated, attributed and marked as reference only.
Grey market premium is a rumour with a price attached. We print it, we date it, and we say where it came from.
Effective 10 September 2026 · Dalal Street for iOS · Ultra Vires
Dalal Street is a reader of public market information. It collects the minimum needed to run an optional account, and nothing at all if you never make one.
All three are linked to your identity. None of them is used for tracking, advertising, profiling or data brokerage, and we do not sell or share them for those purposes.
Browsing Dalal Street requires no sign-in. Every IPO, OFS, buyback, rights issue and grey market premium listing is readable without an account. You only create one if you want your data saved across sessions and devices.
You can delete your account inside the app: open More and choose Delete account. Deletion erases the account and all data associated with it. No email to us is required, and there is no separate retention copy kept for marketing.
Grey market premium figures shown in the app are unofficial. They are sourced from publicly available reference sites, are not published or endorsed by any exchange, registrar, merchant banker or regulator, and are provided for reference only. Issue details are compiled from public filings and exchange notices and may be revised or delayed. Nothing in the app is investment advice or a recommendation to apply for, hold or sell any security.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and the current version is always published here. Questions about your data go to support@theultravires.com.
One address, read by the people who build the app. Wrong figure, missing issue, account trouble – write in.
Include your iOS version and the issue name – it halves the round trips.
No. Everything is readable without signing in. An account saves only your bookmarked events and the checklist items you have ticked; appearance settings stay on the device.
In the app, go to More → Delete account. That erases the account and all data associated with it. You do not need to email us.
From publicly available reference sites. It is an unofficial, informal indication – not an exchange price, not a quote you can trade on, and shown for reference only.
Email the issue name and what you expected to see. Corrections to issue details are made against the public filing or exchange notice.
No. Dalal Street reports public market events. It does not recommend, rate or forecast any issue, and it cannot place an application for you.
Send the company name and, if you have it, the exchange notice or filing date. Mainboard and SME issues are both in scope.
